Children love to read and be read to.
Books and Movies
Children can begin to appreciate books while they are still infants. Babies that are read to are much more likely to read earlier, understand concepts better, and be faster learners than babies who are not. It is never too early or too late to begin reading to and with your child. Here are a few books that children really enjoy:

Where The Wild Things Are - Maurice Sendak
The Giving Tree - Shel Silverstein
Goodnight Moon - Margaret Wise Brown
Green Eggs and Ham - Dr Seuss
The Very Hungry Caterpillar - Eric Carle
Guess How Much I Love You - Sam McBratney
Love You Forever - R Munsch & S McGraw
The Lorax - Dr Seuss
Hedgie's Surprise - Jan Brett
The Lion and the Gypsy - Geoffrey Patterson

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs -J&R Barrett
